The following is incomplete - waiting for gravel and more blocks. Will end up being 5 levels and two rows of each level continuing in a loop to opposite site. Plan to fill with round rock of various sizes and with non-shedding plants.

Jig for making turns:

Calculator for determining string guide placement for block walls on grades made of blocks having rear protruding edge:

This problem took some effort in conquering. To make it easier on everyone else, I will supply trigonometric calculations so the top edge of a block wall on a grade is aligned properly. [coming soon]

Fabrication of fountain heads:

Drill 6 holes into a 1" female PVC cap, equidistant and at an angle desired. Make the holes just large enough to fit in smooth copper sleeves and then epoxy them into place. If wanting a central hole for vertical spout, do the same and I suggest making the central just slightly larger in bore.

Securing floating island in a pond:

This is what I think is so cool. The idea came in a flash in my mind yet so sad companies can't accept innovators.
1) Pound 1" pipe into pond bottom, making certain to use a nipple onto a sleeve of pipe that will remain. This is so the male threads do not get fouled. The top of pipe should be at the average water level.
2) Weld onto a sleeve (female coupler) four rings. Attach to pipe.
3) Into 4 large concrete blocks, drive in thick brass eye screws.
4) Attach vinyl-coated steel wire onto blocks and drop into water about 10 feet away from the center pipe attached in pond. To the four rings, attach to the end of the vinyl-coated steel wire, each of the four concrete blocks. This will provide a solid 'footing' for the island.
5) Realizing the island would rise and fall per pond water level, the center pole will be offset from the center of the island to prevent interference with the center metal tube attached to the island. On the underneath side of the island, attach 4 eye screws.
6) To each of the eye screws beneath the island and while in place, floating in the pond, dive under the island. There will be air space to breath. With some slack, attach to the same four-ring coupler vinyl-coated steel wire to each of the four eye screws, making certain the lengths provide ample offsetting of the center island tube and the pond bottom attached pipe.
